OUR CHARITABLE COLLABORATIONS: MAKING A DIFFERENCE TOGETHER

At EBB & FLO we believe in the power of collective action to create meaningful social and environmental change. That's why we are proud to support like-minded charitable causes.

In 2017, we invested in a 2 Minute Beach Clean (2MBC) station through local crowdfunding efforts, marking our commitment to sustainability and our community. The 2MBC station is a powerful collaboration tool that empowers people to take action against litter and plastic pollution. This station provides individuals with the tools and resources to clean the beach and make a positive impact.

In 2018, we invested in the Nurdle initiative, which aims to remove and recycle marine debris from coastlines worldwide. We purchased a Nurdle Trommel machine to aid our efforts in tackling marine pollution, making us the only Nurdle Trommel custodians on the East Coast of the UK.

In the same year, we also purchased Pollu Toys, plush toys specially designed by the direct action conservation charity Sea Shepherd to educate children about the harmful impact of plastic pollution on our wildlife. These toys are an effective way to sensitively engage children in learning about environmental issues and inspire them to take action to protect our planet. We invite you to check out the Pollu Toys YouTube video to learn more about this initiative.

In 2020, we became members of the SAS 250 Club, a program that supports local beach cleaning and marine conservation efforts throughout the UK. You can view our profile on their website here.

We are also proud to have partnered with Eden Reforestation Projects, donating a total of $1365.06, which helped to plant 11,151 trees across the globe. Eden work with local communities to restore forests on a large scale, thus providing job opportunities, whilst protecting ecosystems, and helping to mitigate climate change. Eden aim to restore forests, and support local communities to achieve economic self-sufficiency. You can view our profile on their website here.

Our founder, Toni, has been a regional representative for Surfers Against Sewage (SAS) since 2017 and is passionate about ocean conservation. We organize monthly beach cleans for our community and welcome anyone who wants to make a difference. You can find details about upcoming events on our Facebook page.

At EBB & FLO, we are committed to making a difference and inspiring positive change in our community and beyond. By supporting like-minded charitable causes and investing in sustainability initiatives, we aim to foster a sense of connection with nature and inspire others to take action. We believe that collective action can create meaningful change, and we invite you to join us in our mission to protect the planet and create a better future for all.
